DP House explores efficiency and flexibility within a compact family kitchen and dining area. Through custom cabinetry, open storage, and a sliding screen system, the design supports everyday routines while allowing the space to adapt to the family’s lifestyle and preferences.  














Our approach was to support the fundamental activities within the kitchen and dining area while maximising the use of the available space. Rather than introducing unnecessary complexity, the design focuses on creating a flexible environment that adapts to the daily routines of the family.    

This idea is expressed through an open cabinet system combined with a sliding screen positioned between the storage area and dining space. The screen was developed according to the family’s preferences, allowing the space to shift between openness and privacy while maintaining visual continuity throughout the interior.    

By balancing practicality with personal expression, DP House creates a kitchen and dining environment that feels efficient, adaptable, and closely connected to the everyday lives of its occupants.   Interior Design and Furniture Design by Matter of Something
