C HOUSE
The design strategy complements the architecture designed by AYYA Architects, where natural light plays a crucial role in shaping the atmosphere of the home. Large windows and strategically placed openings bring abundant daylight, creating a bright, welcoming environment. The connection to nature is incorporated into the design, adding an organic element that complements the modern materials.
Based on a symmetrical grid, the kitchen in the living area is positioned at the centre, making it the focal point of the space. This central placement allowed for the thoughtful selection of materials and colours, highlighting its distinctiveness and reinforcing its role as the heart of the home. The rounded details on the edge of the kitchen table and the ceiling design highlight the balance between masculine and feminine elements, becoming a key feature of the overall concept.
The design explores the use of wall panelling, with wood textures as the primary element, complemented by materials such as stone, mirror, and marble. This combination adds depth and dynamism to the space, creating a visually engaging interplay between the foreground and background as one moves to one area and the other. One large marble slab covers the main wall in the living area, where the TV is mounted. Furniture items are delicately placed, benefiting from natural views and proper daylight.
The design also prioritises functionality without compromising aesthetics. Every space is carefully planned to serve the needs of the family, ensuring that each room is both beautiful and practical. The main bedroom prominently highlights the contrast between feminine and masculine elements. Bold pink and blue hues are dynamically arranged, coexisting with contemporary design pieces, such as Marset’s Ginger pendant lamp. The children’s bedrooms are designed with playfulness, featuring vibrant colours, playful shapes, and cute details that reflect their individual personalities. The result is a home that feels intimate, offering a unique environment for family life to flourish.
