BRG House centres on the kitchen as a quiet threshold between indoor living and the outdoors. Through natural light, open connection, and a multifunctional pantry, the design creates a warm daily setting for cooking, gathering, and slow morning rituals.

Interconnected Spaces. Sometimes, we would like to have a multi-functional pantry to accommodate cooking activity sufficiently, while also having a communal space to socialise.

We have time to notice the light, wash the dishes, or sit at the kitchen table having breakfast. In this kitchen design, we encounter the indoors and outdoors as seamlessly connected.

As the morning sun gently spills its warmth into the kitchen, we find ourselves with a moment to observe the play of light, attend to the simple chore of washing dishes, or savour the quietude at the kitchen table during breakfast. In the canvas of this kitchen design, the distinction between the indoors and outdoors fades away, creating a seamless connection that invites a harmonious blend of the two realms.

The project explores the idea of interconnected spaces, where a multi-functional pantry can support cooking activity while also becoming a communal space for socialising. By allowing natural light and outdoor views to shape the atmosphere, the kitchen becomes more than a functional room; it becomes a daily ritual space for gathering, pausing, and connection.
