AH House reflects a residential design approach shaped through close engagement with the owner, translating personal preferences and ways of living into a cohesive domestic environment. Drawing from mid-century modern inspirations, the project balances clarity of form, material warmth, and everyday comfort.

In residential projects, the design develops through close engagement with the owner, allowing personal preferences and ways of living to inform the spatial and aesthetic direction. The role of the design is to translate these into a cohesive environment, balancing familiarity with a considered spatial structure.

This residence project reflects an approach to mid-century modern inspirations as a familiar and adaptable framework for domestic space. Rather than treating the style as a fixed reference, it is used as a way of working with clarity of form, material honesty, and a sense of ease in everyday living.

The interior is organised through the relationship between elements, allowing the space to feel both structured and relaxed. Wood tones, natural textures, and deeper colour accents are introduced selectively to create depth while maintaining balance. Comfort and usability are central, with furniture, finishes, and spatial arrangements composed to support daily life, allowing moments of expression to emerge naturally within a cohesive environment.
